Rachel Wheeley

 


Rachel is a comedian based in Morden in south west London.


She has three children and hopes to own a couple of chickens in the near future.


Rachel was a studio manager/director for the BBC for over 10 years, producing live news programmes like Today and comedy shows like The Vote Now Show during the 2015 general election.


She gigs all over the country, including science shows like The Ugly Animal Preservation Society and Science Showoff. Rachel is an MC and headliner for Bright Club and has performed at Glastonbury, the Royal Institution, the Science Museum and London Zoo.


She has gigged all over the place including Glastonbury festival, the Edinburgh fringe and the back of a transit van.


Rachel was shortlisted for the 2018 BBC New Comedy Award and has written for the News Quiz and Radio 4’s Listen Against.
