Graeme Coulam

Since 2014 I have been performing regularly at the Ace Space Open Mic night (Newbury) on the first Friday of the month. Equally comfortable as a comedian and compere, I have also produced shows with other acts, as was the case with the "In The Frame" gigs which began in 2016. There's a short clip from one of these performances here

I came back to standup in 2014 having quit performing in 2005 to pursue other interests overseas. Prior to 2005, I'd been a regular on the London Comedy Circuit, and I've performed at several venues including places like The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Downstairs at The Kings Head.

I have written many sketches and skits that can be used in church, and these are available from my short-christian-skits.com website.

I have also written comedy sketches for BBC TV and radio, ITV television, and perfomed one man shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (early 1990s). I'm a past winner of the Skegness Find-a-star talent competition and also (jointly with Tom Binns) the comedy competition that opened the Corn Exchange in Newbury in 1999.

My plays 'Load of Old Bowls' and 'Breaking the bonds' have been performed at theatres in Norfolk and Berkshire.
