Matt Stellingwerf is a New Zealand comedian now based in London. Highly regarded by his peers, a Hamilton-born and Wanganui-raised Farmer’s son, Matt gives out an effortless confidence with a talent for rapid audience interaction. Having been a criminologist in his past life, there is a certain degree of scientific reason to Stellingwerf’s material. He has an intellectual wit that is constantly on point, allowing him to mock but in a hilarious, confident way. He has MC’d and performed at clubs like The Boat Show, Off the Kerb and the Comedy Store and Komedia Brighton. He has been nominated three times for best MC at the New Zealand comedy festival and now headlining at the UK’s greatest comedy clubs.
