There can't be many professional musicians who have explored such a variety of creative avenues and so successfully as Andy Roberts. He has produced a catalogue of impressive solo albums, been a founder member of what could be the foremost acoustic group in the UK, Plainsong, has acted as right-hand man to Iain Matthews solo work, and also  Roy Harper. He featured as as a 'latex' Dave Gilmour with Pink Floyd during their 'The Wall' tour in 1981 and played alongside Hank Wangford in his The Lost Cowboys band. Andy was Musical Director at the Royal Court Theatre in London and during the 1980s provided incidental music and wrote themes and scores for TV, film and theatre.

In 2004 he played on and produced successful albums for two of the countries leading playwrights Willy Russell(Hoovering The Moon) and Tim Firth (Harmless Flirting) and was Musical Director for their later tour of the UK and residency at the Edinburgh International Festival (The Singing Playwrights).

More recently he has become one of the Three Bonzo's and a Piano (plus the guitar and the occasional 4th or 5th Bonzo). And 2010 saw Andy Roberts appear at Glastonbury Festival forty years after his first performance there in 1970. Andy has re-joined Hank Wangford to form the duo Hank Wangford & Brad Breath for the 'No Hall 2 Small' tour of rural UK venues.
