Bridget Christie is a female person.
She studied acting at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in Wandsworth.
She was a finalist in Funny Women 2004, nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2005, won the inaugural Funny Women Best Show Fringe Award 2007 and was nominated for the Chortle Best Breakthrough Act 2009.
She has appeared in several TV and radio comedy shows, including BBC One's The Omid Djalili Show, E4's Cardinal Burns, Harry Hill's Little Cracker (Sky), Anna and Katy (Channel Four), It's Kevin (BBC2), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), The Culture Show (BBC Two), and various spots on The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central).
BBC Radio 4 shows include The Broadcasting House Programme, Andy Zaltzman's History of the Third Millennium, The News Quiz, Miranda Hart's House Party, It's Your Round, Sarah Millican's Support Group (Series 2), Loose Ends, The Fred MacAulay Show, Dan Tetsell's The 21st Century for Time Travellers, The Now Show, Heresy, Kerry's List and Dilemma.
She has also presented Radio 4 Extra's Comedy Club.

She has written and performed seven critically acclaimed consecutive solo Edinburgh Festival shows, The Cheese Roll, The Court of King Charles II, for which she won the Funny Women Fringe Award for Best Show, The Court of King Charles II - The Second, My Daily Mail Hell, A Ant, Housewife Surrealist and War Donkey.
Her shows have been consistently picked for Critics' Choice.
Including Metro, Scotsgay, Time Out, Independent, Guardian, The Times, The Stage, The List, Scotsman, The Skinny, Herald and The Sunday Times.
Her 2010 show, A Ant, was in the Top 10 best reviewed shows for that year and was featured in BBC2's The Culture Show.
Her 2011 show, Housewife Surrealist, gained four 5 star reviews from Chortle, Skinny, The British Comedy Guide and Scotsgay.
Her latest show, War Donkey also featured on The Culture Show as one of Sue Perkins' Top 5 Edinburgh shows and received 10 four star reviews and 2 five star reviews. So what? It was also one of GQ magazine's Ten Essential Edinburgh shows.
The Arts Desk said Bridget had "the best fart joke on the Fringe by a country mile", which has made her very proud.
War Donkey then toured the UK.
Her debut BBC Radio 4 series about feminism, Bridget Christie Minds the Gap, caused "a twitter avalanche of praise" Stylist Magazine.
She can be seen in Harry Hill's Little Internet Show as an ant, and also as a person on a beach, shouting.
In March 2013 she performed her own solo show War Donkey as part of the Women of the World Festival at the Southbank Centre and people came along.
Bridget enjoys trying on waterproof jackets in shops, shouting about misogyny and eating beetroot dips.
She also has a cat and two children, who all seem to be doing ok.
She also likes her bicycle, eggs and the countryside.
