Si Deaves has been performing stand up comedy since early 2014, when he fulfilled a lifelong dream of taking his own brand of alternative observations to the stage.
Deaves' exploration into the weird and wonderful things his mind does, serves as the perfect vehicle for him to exercise his dry, acerbic wit.
Since then, he has performed around 500 gigs, including slots at prestigious venues such as the Manchester Comedy Store, The Stand, Glee Club, Komedia, Up The Creek, The Good Ship, The Comedy Cafe Theatre and Angel Comedy and further paid work for such promoters as Mirth Control Comedy, Chesham Comedy Club, Joker Comedy Club, BFG Concerts, House Of Comedy, Little Smash Comedy, New Comedians With Alex Boardman at The Comedy Store, Hooma Comedy, Balls Out Comedy and many more.
He has also recently been tour support for Abigoliah Schamaun.
During this time, he has been a finalist/shortlisted in competitions such as Colchester New Comedian of the Year, Buryfields New Comedian and Southend Comedy Festival's New Act of the Year, as well as beating the gong at a great list of gong shows.
Si has also been featured on BBC Radio Norfollk’s ‘New Comedy Voices’ show and has been a featured guest on Essex Radio and Funky SX.
In 2017, he took a short run of his hour long WIP show, 'Leaves With a D', to Edinburgh, ahead of what will then be his official debut, Si's Matters. Which will be going to Southend, Leicester, Hastings and Bath Comedy Festivals, also to Camden Fringe Festival and eventually Edinburgh Fringe among many others.
