Kuan-wen is a new act from Taiwan, who stumbled upon the world of stand-up comedy in Berlin in November 2015.  He also performed in German whilst living in Germany as well as in his native tongue Mandarin in Taiwan but decided to relocate back to London in summer 2016 to focus on English stand-up.

A high-energy and fast-paced performer, Kuan-wen blends his experiences of a bewildered immigrant in the West with his bubbly gay character, adding the trauma of an oppressed son facing his elitist tiger mum, the boredom of a zoned-out qualified accountant during the day and the memory of serving in the Taiwanese army.  He asks pertinent questions relating to gender, race, cultural differences, social classes and pokes fun at himself, his home & host countries and pretty much everyone else.
