Starting comedy way back in the mid 2000s, Alex found immediate success back in his old country - New Zealand. In 2006 he won NZ's Raw Comedy Quest and the following year was nominated for the prestigious Billy T Award.
Upon arriving in London he made the final of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year. After this he decided the best way to capitalize on a good start was to take a break for about a decade. Nice move!
Since his return he's settled successfully into a low key middle-aged schtick, winning a number of gong shows and headlining nights across London.
